Located in Kunda Park on the Sunshine Coast, the Ambrose Office Headquarters responds to a complex industrial site and subtropical climate through a contemporary, elevated building form. The design lifts the office above ground to maximise car parking and site efficiency, while creating a strong visual connection between new and existing buildings. A large wraparound verandah provides sun shading and passive cooling, with hanging gardens softening the built form and connecting to the surrounding landscape. Internally, a central core and open mezzanine layout create light-filled, functional workspaces with strong visual connectivity. The project reflects a practical, site-driven approach to commercial building design, balancing industrial requirements with a refined architectural outcome.
